We're in a national lockdown

these are tough times & it seems things will get even tougher in the coming weeks, or perhaps as it is now being hinted by Michael Gove, for months to come. when the going gets tough the tough get going .

Remember it’s only temporary

“Temporary” is a funny word. We often hear it or see it and immediately think that it means short-term. However, that’s not necessarily true. What it really means is that it will come to an end. With that in mind, you can rest assured that this too shall pass. Whatever the situation is, there will be an ending. It may take a while and it may not always end as planned, but it will end. You just have to remain strong and allow this thought to enable you to get through these strange times.

Face masks have become a new revealing fashion item

Personalities are revealed by our choice of “Mask” it provides insight to the inner soul revealing a vast rainbow of personality’s.
On a recent visit to Sainsburys I couldn’t help but smile when seeing a guy wearing a mask emblazoned with the teeth laden jaw from the iconic movie
“Jaws” Were gonna need a bigger boat

Of course, my smile was concealed by my “Darth Vader” mask!

OK I know what you are thinking, If Darth Vader ever found himself in a fight with the Jaws Shark who would win? My money would be on the shark! As for the guy wearing the Jaws Shark Mask! He was obviously a blood thirsty, flesh eating psychopath!

During my visit to the International Space Station, I froze when the airlock opened.

Ran for my life in Jurassic World.

The Oculus Quest 2 is an incredibly immersive experience, comfortable, light weight easy to use. It does require to be linked to a Facebook account, can still cause (me) motion sickness & vertigo, (note to self, stay on Earth don’t even try to go to Mars).

VIRTUAL REALITY, will boom this Christmas due to Covid-19

here’s why, in a virtual world you can go anywhere Covid-19 risk free (no lockdown) tech savvy stores & supermarkets have already got busy building virtual reality stores.

You may ask what is “Virtual Reality”?

Virtual Reality (VR) is a computer-generated environment with scenes and objects that appear to be real, making the user feel they are immersed in the surroundings. This environment is perceived through a device known as a Virtual Reality headset. VR allows us to immerse ourselves in video games as if we were one of the characters, it allows surgeons to perform open heart surgery from afar.

The 2019 Oculus Quest was so popular it was almost impossible to purchase for months after its release. Oculus didn’t wait long to improve on that headset either.
[The Oculus Quest 2 (£299.99) is now available] (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LyhOQJ5xwjY), and it’s a massive improvement over the original in every way that matters. And yet, it’s £100 less expensive than the last release.
Having spent quite some time with the Oculus Quest 2 which allowed me to visit the international Space Station (I did attempt a space walk however vertigo kicked in, I couldn’t leave the airlock) & I also visited “Jurassic World” The T-REX was terrifying & mind bogglingly real.

I have no connection what so ever with “Facebook Oculus” my test is completely independent & a very thinly disguised excuse to get myself a VR Headset!

Oculus Quest 2 – An Absolute MUST BUY VR Headset. It would make a fantastic Christmas Present for anyone above 13yrs old to adult.

I believe we might look back on it as the headset that finally made virtual reality accessible to main stream consumers.

Stay well, stay safe
